Contribution and payment information

Kinder Change does not store full card details. We facilitate the collection and release of contributions through Stripe's payment infrastructure — funds are not held in a Kinder Change bank account.
When contributions are made, we may receive limited transaction information from Stripe, such as:
- Payment status
- Contribution amount
- Contributor name (if provided)
- Transaction identifiers
Contribution amounts are kept private from public event visitors.
Information collected automatically
When you use Kinder Change, certain technical information may be collected automatically, including:

Public visitors to an event cannot see how much another contributor has given.

Charity spotlight submissions
If you submit a charity nomination and explicitly opt in, certain information such as:
- first name
- broad location
- optional quote
may be displayed publicly when a charity is featured.
If consent is not provided, this information will not be displayed publicly.
